So last Saturday I went to an orchard (Wilson's Orchard) in Iowa City and it was my first orchard in the States. It's not that far from where I stay, it took like 20 mins drive from home. The orchard was soooooo big and the apples, they were sweet and tasty. Sangat rangup dan enak dimakan begitu sahaja! And the view was pretty as well :) Oh and fyi I didn't just go by myself, it was actually an event held by our Malaysian Society at Iowa City, so there were like 30+ Malaysians there on that day. What we did were basically wandering around the orchard, tasting good looking apples, taking pictures, chatting around, and we also visited an apple store! The store was really cute, it's so 'orchardish' I guess?  I don't know if the word exists or nah.

This is actually one section inside the store that I really like! Why? Well, we get to eat FREE apples and they were super tasty! Look at the names, they look (and sound) delicious right?

and this is the view from the outside of the store. If you are wondering what is that green truck is doing right there, it's actually a free ride that visitors can take if they do not want to walk into the orchard. I did walk, and I did ride the truck as well. Heheh. :)

A closer view of the truck. Oh and its name is 'Bessie'.

Summer 2015: New York City #2

Hello guys and girls! How ya doin' huh? I am a lil bit busy with classes and workloads and that's one reason I can't write as frequent as I want hm sho sad. Tapi takpe, let's get starteeeeeddddd with NYC Part 2, a sequel to the previous 'episode' of New York trip.

For our second day in New York, we used one-day city pass that costed us in about $90 per day. The city pass helped us a lot in maintaining our travel budget, we got a free access to most of must-visit places in New York City. The first place that we went on that day was Battery Park. Battery Park is one of jetties to Liberty Island and Ellis Island. Since we had a free entrance to both islands, we decided to go to both Liberty and Ellis Island. As you may know, Liberty Island is where the famous Lady of Liberty at while Ellis Island  was the gateway for millions of immigrants to the United States from 1892 until 1954.

This was where we picked up our tickets

A Video

So the new fall semester has started last week. And so far so good but wait until tons of homework, papers, quizzes, and exams come then it'll be like being hit by a gigantic gas truck and then the truck got burnt and exploded and everyone has a very tiny little chance of surviving the explosion ok mengarut sorry. Let's not have any negative thoughts ye kawan kawan.

Well, I don't want to write much in this post, I just want to share a video that I have made. It's a seven-minute video of my summer trip to New York last August. If you have watched it, yay, high five!!!! Yeah I know, the video is lacking in so many ways but who cares? I'm not a video editor pun. I actually uploaded the same video with different audio earlier but I had to delete it as there was a copyright infringement (I used the original songs from Taylor Swift). Then, I took it down from Youtube and uploaded a new one with two covers; 'Welcome to New York by Jackson Harris' & Wonderland by I-don't-know-who, and ta-daaaaaaaaa....

I hope you enjoy the video and have a good day!!!

'Till next time,
